The Holidays! It feels like it’s been so long but it’s here. In New York City, millions of tourists come to our city for the holidays just to experience it in a special way. In New York City, there are so many places to visit and experience the holidays with your friends and family. I will be covering activities in each borough.
In Queens, there is a farm, called the Queens County Farm and they have Christmas lights there for you to enjoy! There are Christmas lights of many farm animals and overall just nature. There will be some images listed below on everything you can see in the Queens County Farm Christmas light display.

In Manhattan, there are so many places because it is, Manhattan. One example is Rockefeller Center. There is a huge christmas tree there and also a house light show. The Christmas tree is about 80 feet tall each year. It’s one of the most iconic parts of the holiday season in the entire world.

In the Bronx, the most popular place in the holidays in my opinion is the Bronx Zoo. It’s somewhat similar to the Queens County Farm light show because they both include animal lights. What I think is so special about the Bronx Zoo lights is the creativity put inside. It isn’t just animals, they have different types of scenes in different places to make it unique.

Last but not least, Brooklyn. I personally haven’t gone to any holiday activities in Brooklyn but have heard of a few. One that caught my eye the most was the Nutcracker “Brooklyn style” play. With them emphasizing the “Brooklyn style”, it kind of makes me more encouraged to go and enjoy the show. You can even go with your family or friends if you just want to spend some time with them during the holidays!
